The partnership is not only about introducing a new security product. It brings a new approach, continuous "Microsoft 365 Security Operations", to Japan: ongoing auditing, improvement, and maintenance of the advanced security capabilities already built into Microsoft 365. The goal is to help Japanese enterprises raise the maturity of their cybersecurity posture.
Microsoft 365 is now a core platform underpinning business activity for many organisations, spanning email, identity management, file sharing, collaboration, and device management. At the same time, as attack methods grow more sophisticated, risks tied to day-to-day operations, unapplied multi-factor authentication (MFA), excessive administrator privileges, poorly configured Conditional Access, and inadequately managed sharing settings, have become a significant challenge for enterprises.
Microsoft 365 already includes a wide range of advanced security capabilities. But having those capabilities deployed is not the same as operating them continuously in a secure state. What enterprises need today is not another security product, but an operating model: continuously auditing, improving, and maintaining the existing Microsoft 365 environment to keep it secure.

The two companies will roll out the following services:
